All our power is of God, and it is suicidal to cut ourselves off from him-the one Source of life and righteousness and power.” These words are reinforcing the lesson I’ve been hearing from God over the last few months. While prayer has been a morning event, I’m learning the grace of evening prayer. And the concept of that morning and evening prayer is not limited to the times of the day - it extends out into my day when I’m about start an activity (morning) and when the activity is finished (evening).
